Research Interests

Dr. Chen has been involved in the field of spine surgery & orthopeadic for the past 16 years. He is experienced on clinical diagnosis and therapy in spinal degenerative disease, osteoporosis, spinal cord injury, spinal tuberculosis, spinal deformities, etc. He’s good at various minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) including percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic lumbar discectomy (PELD), microendoscopic discectomy (MED), interbody fusion assisted with endoscopy or tubular retractor, percutaneous pedicle screw fixation, percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) and percutaneous kyphoplasy (PKP). He especially focuses on clinical research of spinal disorders.
