Expert in the diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases concerning gastrointestinal, hepato-biliary, thyroid, breast, pancreas, spleen and vessel. In recent years, his work focused on combined modality therapy for gastroenteric tumor, especially the surgical procedures. Then he has been involved in the field of minimally invasive surgical technology in recent years. Especially, the level of expertise in laparoscopic surgery for gastroenteric tumor has achieved domestic leading, and international advanced rank. In the directions of preclinical medicine research, he has gone in for the research field of colorectal cancer stem cell for the past few years, and been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2008.
