Research Interests

He has been devoted himself on clinical endocrinology practice for more than 30 years. Not only is he good at treating diabetes, thyroid gland and pituitary diseases, but also does he specialize in treating rear diseases of endocrinology and metabolism. In 2012, he was appointed as Sub-Principle investigator in the STRATEGY Study, which is by far the largest national-wide type 2 diabetes mellitus clinical research in China. Since 2012, he has devoted himself to integrated management of T1DM as a group leader for type 1 diabetes research group in the hospital. For the last four years, he has given hundreds of lectures on T1DM management in lots of Chinese hospitals and also annual scientific meeting of Chinese Diabetes society.

·First Class, the Award of the Chinese Ministry of Education, The experiments and clinical research on the relation of islet B cells’ functions and type2 diabetes.

·First Class of the Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award, The basal and clinical research on the effect factors of islet B cells

·Third Class of the Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award, Pathogenesis of type2 diabetes combined with osteoporosis

·In charge of 8 Guangdong Natural Science Funds and health science and technology funds

·International Diabetes Funds, 170 thousand euro, the management of type1 diabetes pregnancy
