As a mentor of Master students, her work focuses on the mechanisms and intervention to promote stroke and TBI recovery. Since 2011 she has received funding from the NSFC (No. 81101461 and currently No. 81472156) as well as University and Guangdong Province grants that aim to exploring the mechanisms of cerebral white matter connectivity in stroke motor and cognition recovery and to develop novel interventions to enhance the functional improvement.
