Introduction of the Center of Clinical Immunology

The Center of Clinical Immunology was founded in 2014 for the research of clinical immunology with autoimmune disease. It’s established as a key research platform in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University.

Our research team consists of 15 scientists, including Dr. Songguo Zheng, the director of the center, other full-time researchers with graduated degree and technicians. The key research directions of the center include immunology, cell biology, molecular biology experiments. Our current research focused on the development and function of regulatory T (Treg) cells in autoimmune diseases, GVHD and organ transplantation and Gingival-derived mesenchymal stem cells with autoimmune disease.
