Introduction to the department of neurosurgery

The department of neurosurgery provides both Ph.D. and master program. It’s a mobile postdoctoral station and one of the earliest hypophysoma diagnosis and treatment center in China. We have 2 chief surgeon, 4 vice chief surgeon and 6 attending doctors (among them, there is 1 Professor and Ph.D. supervisor, and 5 Associate Professors and master degree advisor). We provide top-ranking multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment services for nearly all diseases in neurology system, such as hypophysoma, intracranial aneurysm, basilar meningioma, craniopharyngioma and acoustic neuroma.

The department obtains ten more research grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. We published about 100 articles on journals collected by SCI database.
